The process of digestion begins in the mouth cavity and ends in the anus and has six steps, which are as follows:

1. Ingestion 2. Secretion 3. Mixing and movement 4. Digestion 5. Absorption 6. Excretion Components of the Human Digestive System 1. Mouth & Buccal Cavity 2. Pharynx 3. Oesophagus (or) Esophagus 4. Stomach 5. Small Intestine 6. Large Intestine
